Kimchi!

Massive Amounts of Kimchi

Kimchi (fermented cabbage) is the most common side dish in Korea. It's unique in that it's cold and spicy at the same time. Every winter, families get together and actually make it. They're essentially creating a stockpile of kimchi that'll keep for about a year. It's pretty amazing to watch this in person.

Pork, kimchi, and sweet potatoes...yum :)

This is sweet potato coffee. It wasn't that great, but I pretended it was.

They sent me home with about 20 lbs of kimchi (the orange bag).
