Gyeongju

Gyeongju is a a small touristy town about 30 min from Pohang. It is famous for its cherry blossoms in the spring.

I thought this was funny. Some people decided to dry their clothes on the bushes near the temple.

I forgot the name for this, but essentially, you place a stone on a stack and make a wish without toppling the whole thing.

Cherry Blossoms....

Temples...

Random Korean family...

Me and a friend from work, Hyeun Jin (I think that's how you spell it)

Golden Pig...you rub it for good luck.

There were hordes of school children there on field trips. They wanted a picture with me :)

This toddler was just lying in the middle of an open field playing with sand.

People write their intentions on these black stones. This one caught my eye...partly because it's in English, and partly because of what it says.

Maggots...I'm pretty sure.

Museum

Random Korean kids having a sword fight.
